I was tasked with designing the user interface for Uproots, a brand new 'tenant first' property platform. The aim of the project was to simplify and enhance the entire property rental experience, for both tenant and agent. The project began with a brand discovery workshop, which helped solidify positioning, values, vision and voice. From my findings, it was clear the existing brand needed more personality to help connect with the target audience.
I was able to push the existing brand forward by introducing a bold colour palette and friendly tone of voice. I created an asset bank of illustrations, which tied communications together and created brand consistency. The UI and design system for both website and iOS app followed, which was created by myself and UX designer Thomas Davy.
