Myoozik
A celebration of Welsh music.
Cardiff has recently been declared a Music City, the first of it's kind in the UK. It got me thinking about the Welsh music scene and how Wales has such a strong musical heritage. There are so many interesting musicians here, that I thought it would be a nice idea to present them all in one place. The idea developed into an online music directory, where users can discover Welsh musicians, venues and traders. The aim of the project is a simple celebration of Welsh music and the people involved in it. The name Myoozik is the phonetic spelling of the word music, which felt nice and left the idea open to expand into different regions of the UK and beyond.
