Uproots

A brand new 'tenant first' property platform.

I was tasked with designing the user interface for Uproots. The aim of the project was to simplify and enhance the entire property rental experience, for both tenant and agent. The project began with a discovery workshop, which helped solidify positioning, values, vision and voice. From my findings, it was clear the existing brand needed more personality to help connect with the target audience.

I was able to push the existing brand forward by introducing a bold colour palette and friendly tone of voice. I created an asset bank of illustrations, which tied communications together and created brand consistency. Working together with the external team and a UX designer, we mapped out all of the key user flows. I then went on to create the art direction, UI components and design system for both website and iOS.
